Dr. Alex Egglinger is a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist passionate about helping people live pain-free, meaningful, and active lives.

As the owner of Intent Rehab & Performance, Alex takes a multi-dimensional approach to physical therapy and performance training, combining rehabilitation and athletic performance principles to help clients reach their maximum potential.

Throughout his career, Alex has worked in inpatient, outpatient orthopedic, and home care settings, experiences that shaped his approach to therapy and reinforced his belief that people are resilient, adaptable, and capable of growth. His goal is simple: help people return to the activities that matter most while enhancing overall quality of life.

Alex became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and athletic performance, allowing him to impact athletes and clients seeking enhanced strength, mobility, and function. Through his expertise, guidance, and individualized approach, Alex empowers people to achieve a more fulfilling, active, and pain-free lifestyle.

While at SUNY Brockport, Alex was a four-year member of the varsity football team and served as team captain. He completed a strength & conditioning internship during his senior year and earning numerous awards, including:
